Financial Consultant – Part Time

About the role:

Our client is seeking a person that can work on a part-time basis as a Financial Consultant that can ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and the provision of financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line-manage Junior Accountant (JA): plan, review, and guide work
• Review JA Sage Pastel & FlexPayroll entries; direct corrections
• Review draft financial statements; ensure accuracy
• Advise on PAYE, ITX, WHT, VAT, Smart Invoicing
• Prepare draft tax computations/returns for MD approval
• Identify risks, discrepancies, and compliance deadlines
• Advise on cashflow, pricing, and financial performance for consulting business planning and development

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; 
• 5+ yrs SME experience in Zambia
• ZICA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA (part or full)
• Strong ZRA, Sage Pastel, FlexPayroll knowledge

Compensation:

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
